One shot after the death of Bart Allen.
Following Bart's murder in the final issue of his short lived Flash series, Wally West returned as the Flash in All-Flash #1. The one-shot picked up Wally's tale from the end of Justice League of America # 10 (August 2007), where Wally and his family had returned from an alternate reality. Shocked at the news that his protege had been murdered, Wally wasted no time in tracking down the main culprit - Inertia.
While West couldn't execute the villain, he froze Inertia in time, placing him in the Flash museum to stare at a memorial statue of Bart. The following month the regular Flash series returned to pre-Bart numbering and continued Wally's story with # 231. Both the one-shot and the regular series were written by Mark Waid, whose amazing run on the title was still held in high regard by fans and was one of the reasons Wally West was many people's favorite incarnation of the Flash. Th eone-shot was illustrated by a number of different artists, who are listed under the creator credits.
