I love the idea of Captain Midnight. In just so much as a radio show from the 40s/50s and that Name is so of that time. It’s so much fun. I think I heard of him first as more of a punchline in The Dick Van Dyke show and other places talking about the decoder ring. Since the radio show was an Ovaltine show that sounds right. All that said, this book didn’t send me running to the store for Ovaltine. Didn’t love the art, the writing seemed choppy, and clearly the zero issue was necessary to read. Which I hate.
